狗狗生淋巴怎么办?
Lymphadenitis - Dog - PetMD. Lymphadenitis is an infection of lymph node(s) in the body. Lymph nodes are small, bean-shaped glands that work together with other organs to remove harmful substances from the bloodstream and prevent infections from spreading throughout the body. In dogs, these nodes can be found in the throat area, under the jaw, behind the ears, around the inner part of their elbows or knees, inside their groin areas, and on each side near their tail bases。 There might also be multiple groups of swollen nodes called cervical lymphadenopathy。 It is important for people to differentiate between lymphadenopathy caused by a viral infection like distemper virus、parvovirus or adenovirus and those caused by bacteria such as Brucella sp或leptospira borgiae。 Infection with parasites causes a different type of lymphadenosis called lymphangitis。 The disease may result in abscesses(脓肿)or enlarged nodes(淋巴结肿大)and should be treated immediately because it could lead to death if not properly managed. 一般,infections start in one specific group of nodes but then spread into surrounding regions until they infect all the nodes along a certain route, such as the oral or nasal cavities. Symptoms include decreased appetite和fever。 If you notice your dog losing weight and developing a fever over several days, take them to see your veterinarian right away since prompt diagnosis may save their life! Diagnosing a bacterial or fungal infection starts with a thorough examination which includes palpating the affected nodes(检查淋巴结)and looking at the mouth and nose. Laboratory tests to confirm the presence or absence of bacteria include blood tests;culture and sensitivity testing;urinalysis;liver and kidney enzyme tests 和whole blood cytology. Your vet will likely want to do X rays and possibly ultrasonography to look more closely at suspicious sites. Some cases require fine needle aspiration or even biopsy.
Treatment for bacterial diseases usually requires antibiotic therapy while fungal infections are often treated with antifungal medication. Parasite infections require treatment via deworming drugs. Allergy
